How we process personal data for Africoders Works on africoders.net—enquiries, lead administration, and optional analytics.

This notice explains how Africoders Network Limited (RC 1404892) (“we”, “us”) processes personal data in connection with Africoders Works.

Who we are

Africoders Network Limited is a Nigerian company. Office: 4 Oshineye St, Pedro, Lagos, Nigeria.

Privacy contact: hello@africoders.com.

Community vs Works vs project contracts

  • Africoders.com is the builder community platform. Community account data is governed on that domain.
  • Africoders Works (this site) covers Works website analytics (where enabled), contact and project enquiry forms, training interest, and related lead administration.
  • Project contracts may add confidentiality and data-processing terms for a named engagement.

What we collect

  • Enquiry and project form fields you submit (organisation, contact details, project context, budget band, attachments).
  • Training enquiry and application fields, including optional accessibility notes and guardian details when required.
  • Technical metadata such as IP address, user agent, referrer, and UTM parameters for lead quality and abuse prevention.
  • Cookie preference signals and, if you accept analytics cookies, limited measurement events when analytics is enabled.
  • Staff account data for authorised administrators.

Why we process it

  • To review and respond to partnership, institutional, general, project, and training enquiries.
  • To assess fit, assemble technical leads, and administer admissions or sales pipelines.
  • To secure forms (rate limiting, spam controls, optional Turnstile verification).
  • To improve the site when analytics is enabled and consent has been given.
  • To meet legal and accounting obligations where applicable.

Sharing

We use processors that help us host, email, store uploads, and (when enabled) verify human form submissions. We do not sell personal data. Staff access to enquiries and attachments is limited to authorised roles.

Retention

Enquiry and application records are retained for as long as needed to administer the relationship, defend legal claims, and meet record-keeping needs, then deleted or anonymised according to internal policy.

Your choices

You may request access, correction, or deletion of enquiry data by emailing hello@africoders.com, subject to applicable law and legitimate retention needs.

Security

See our Security page for an overview of operational security for Works systems.
